Double Paper Covered (DPC) Aluminium Wire is used for winding purposes, specifically for LT  ​winding of transformers. Transformers, consisting majorly of a primary and secondary coil, is wound by transformer winding conductors (TWC) made by covering Aluminium wire of various sizes with an electrical grade paper.
